a. Prizes valued up to $500 may be claimed at any Golden Casket Lottery Agent that sells lotto games, with the original receipt.
b. Prizes valued over $500 will be paid via cheque and can be claimed in person at Golden Casket Lottery Corporation Limited, 87 Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba in Brisbane, Queensland. To collect your prize over $500, you will need:
- Your original receipt, and
- Signature identification such as a Drivers Licence or Passport
Claiming on someone’s behalf?
If claiming all or part of a registered prize on someone else's behalf, you will also need a signed letter of authorisation and signature identification for the claimant and the registered player(s).
Please note: First Division prizes are only available for payment from the first working day, two weeks following the draw. All lower division prizes are available from 9:00am on the next working day after the draw. In cases where Super 66 First Division has jackpotted for the fifth week in succession and the prize pool is distributed to Second Division, this Second Division prize is only available for payment the first business day after a two week waiting period.
All prizes may be claimed by mailing, simply complete Sections 1 & 2 of the Player Prize Claim form which includes your return postal address, contact phone number and winning receipt or Instant Scratch-Its ticket details. Attach your winning receipt or ticket (ensuring you have kept a copy) to the claim form and mail by either security post or certified mail to:

Alternatively, you can complete the Player Prize Claim form at your local Golden Casket Lottery Agent who will submit the claim to Golden Casket on your behalf. Your prize will be mailed to you within 10 working days of Golden Casket receiving your claim form, or after necessary waiting periods as listed above.
Play with a Winners Circle card and if you win First Division we'll call you! If you forget to claim your prize or your entry goes through the wash, we'll automatically send you a prize cheque 13 weeks after the draw. You can claim your prize within this 13 week period, the following ways:
- In Person: The same process as for Item 1 above should be followed.
- By Phone: Prizes over $500 that are registered to a Winners Circle card, may be claimed by calling Golden Casket on 138 868 or (07) 3877 1000 for mobile users. A Golden Casket representative will verify your identity and arrange for a cheque to be sent to you in the post which will be made out to the name(s) and address of the parties registered on the Winners Circle card.
- By Mail: The same process as for Item 2 above should be followed.
Additional important information about lost receipts:
Prizes can only be claimed from the original receipt. Please be careful with your receipt because if you lose it, someone else could use it to claim your prize. If you lose your receipt (even if you are a Winners Circle Card holder) you should call Golden Casket immediately on 131 868.
For Winners Circle card holders we can place a 'Stop Payment' on winning entries which will prevent anyone else from claiming your prize, provided that the prize has not yet been paid.
If you are not a Winners Circle card holder, you will need to complete a ‘Lost Damaged Receipt Form’ which will assist us in locating your entry in our lotteries system. There is a $5.00 fee associated with this search. If we are successful in locating your receipt a ‘Stop Payment’ can be placed on the winning entry, provided that the prize has not yet been claimed.

Claim within State of purchase:
Even though Saturday Gold Lotto, Oz7 Lotto and Powerball are national games, prizes can only be claimed within the State in which the entry was originally purchased.
